HOUSING & TRANSPORTATION NEEDS ASSESSMENT

Greetings:                                                                                                                March 21, 2024

The Texas A&M University School of Public Health, Center for Community Health and Aging, is conducting a Housing and Transportation Needs Assessment of Colorado County in partnership with The Wellness Council (The Health & Behavioral Wellness Council of Greater Colorado Valley). The survey is available online and on paper in both English and Spanish.

The purpose of this Needs Assessment is to gather hard data that substantiates the existing problems in our county, both with housing and transportation. Your unique perspective, along with others throughout the County, will provide this much-needed information.

Once all data has been gathered and analyzed, a final Housing and Transportation Needs Assessment Report will be available to the public at the Wellness Council‘s website. More importantly, this report will be available for our County, our cities, businesses, agencies, nonprofits, and Chambers of Commerce for their use in strategic planning, positive solution development and as a foundational component for grant writing.

We respectfully request that you take a few moments and answer the survey questions by clicking on the link in the green box above or scanning the QR Code.
