Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the governing body of the City of Columbus, Texas will be held on

Monday, March 27, 2006 at 6:30 p.m.

in the Council Chambers on the second floor at City Hall, 605 Spring Street, Columbus, Texas,

at which time the following subjects will be discussed, to wit:

Call to Order.

Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation.

Consent Agenda:

a. Approval of invoices.

b. Approval of minutes from March 13, 2006 regular meeting.

c. Approval of financial statements.

 

Discussion of City Manager’s Report including Power Outage, Swimming Pool Repairs, Railroad Commission Annual Inspection, Interstate 10 Contra-Flow Plan, Pipe Deliveries, Golf Course Repair Work, Pipeline, Water Line Bid Dates, and Water Well.

Citizen presentations and comments.

Consideration and Action to appoint a Presiding Election Judge and a Presiding Judge for the Early Voting Ballot Board and an Alternate Presiding Election Judge and an Alternate Judge for the Early Voting Ballot Board for the City Election on May 13, 2006.

Consideration and Action on Appointment of Patty Simmons to the Advisory Board of Nesbitt Memorial Library for a Term Beginning April 1, 2006 and Ending October 1, 2009.

Considersation and Action to Approve the Sale of Various Office Equipment from the Library and the Air Compressor at Auction in April, 2006.
