Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the governing body of the City of Columbus, Texas will be held on
Monday, June 26, 2006 at 6:30 p.m.
in the Council Chambers on the second floor at City Hall, 605 Spring Street, Columbus, Texas,
at which time the following subjects will be discussed, to wit:

1. Call to Order.
2. Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation.
3. Consent Agenda:
        a. Approval of invoices.
        b. Approval of minutes from June 12, 2006 regular meeting.
        c. Approval of May financial statements.
4. Discussion of City Manager’s Report including Water Delivery Project, Tree Removal,
         Industrial Park Street Repairs, Water Tower Controls, Gas Report, Utility Revenue
         Reports, Glidden Fresh Water District, House Demolitions, GPS Locating
         Capabilities, Management’s Response to Mrs. Frnka’s Comments Regarding
         Drainage and Debt.
5. Citizen presentations and comments.
6. Discussion and Action on the Documents and Resolutions Necessary to Finalize the
         Agreement with Texas Municipal Gas Corporation.
7. Discussion and Action Regarding the Petition to Amend the City of Columbus Mobile
         Home Ordinance, Section 42-81, Paragraph 7, ie, Expanding the Areas Prohibited for
         Mobile Homes.
8. Consideration and Action to Accept Bids for Street Seal Coating, Award Contract to   
         Successful Bidder, and Authorize the City Manager to Execute any Agreement
         Necessary to Accomplish Such Contract.
9. Consideration and Action to Accept Bids for Gasoline and Diesel Fuel Supply, Award
         Contract to Successful Bidder, and Authorize the City Manager to Execute any
         Agreement Necessary to Accomplish Such Contract.
10. Consideration and Action to Approve the Nesbitt Memorial Library’s Long Range Plan.
11. Discussion of May Police Report.
12. Presentation and Discussion of Open Meetings Training.
13. Items from Councilmembers.2
14. Announcements.
15. Adjournment.
