Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the governing body of the City of Columbus, Texas will be held on
Thursday, January 26, 2006 at 6:30 p.m.
in the Council Chambers on the second floor at City Hall, 605 Spring Street, Columbus, Texas,
at which time the following subjects will be discussed, to wit:
 

1.  Call to Order.

2.   Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation.

3.   Citizen presentations and comments.

4.   Consideration and Action to Award Bid on Water and Wastewater Piping Materials.

5.   Consideration and Action Regarding Electrical Repairs at the Golf Course.

6.   Consideration and action to Re-appoint Robin Garcia, Tracy Lilie and Henry Potter to the Planning and Zoning

7.   Commission for a Three Year Term ending December 2008.

8.   Items from Councilmembers.2

9.   Announcements.

10.  Adjournment.








“The City Council for the City of Columbus reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices) and 551.086 (Economic Development).”
